Funkstar Dance Intermediates and Senior Dance Team members were chosen to dance in an advert for Heart FM. Their job was to walk around a shopping centre as members of the public, randomly start dancing and then act like nothing happened. It was a fun and exciting day for all involved, even in the pouring rain! Advert coming soon….

Funkstar dance is based at Funkstar Dance Studio in the heart of Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside. It specialises in Commercial Street Dance but incorporates many styles of dance. Funkstar Dance is a fun and friendly professional place to learn. Funkstar teaches you more than just how to dance!
Funkstar Dance was created in September 2008 by IDTA teacher and choreographer Donna-Marie Tittle and now has approx. 200 dancers!
Funkstar offers classes for all ages and abilities from children age 3 to those who attend the adult classes. Classes are £3.50.
Funkstar Dance competes in competitions, performs at special events, puts on an annual showcase, enters dancers for exams, teaches workshops at business events and schools, offers dance parties, choreography and much more! Covering Wirral, Merseyside and the complete North West.
Funkstar Dance has created a Junior, Senior and Mini Team who are groups of dancers that represent Funkstar Dance at special events, shows and competitions. Examples of their acheivements so far are Winning the North West Talent Search, 1st place Dance 2008, chosen to perform at IDTA Showcase Gala 2009 and final 12 Move It Dance Competition.
