End of Year!
July 24th was the last day of Funkstar’s 2nd succesful year! What a great year it has been.
The studio is now closed for the summer until Monday 6th September, except for our exciting Summer School 2nd-6th August.
This term Donna gave out 10 badges to people who had worked very hard, improved and shown dedication. The lucky badge winners pictured below are Olivia, Maria, Ellen, Tom, Ellie, Beth, Natasha, Rebecca, Nick and Paige. Well done guys!
Studio: Now Open!
After a snowy first week the second week was alive and kicking, class after class were excited to be at the new premises and everyone worked extremely hard.
This week Funkstar Senior Team turned in to rock chicks, the Adults Class started with a bang and the Beginner Seniors realised that having 50 people in the studio is a little sweaty!
The atmosphere at the studio is amazing.

Showcase 01 – Review
After months of hard work Funkstar Dance Showcase 01 took place on December 11th and 12th 2009. This was Funkstar’s debut showcase. It promised to be an evening of big fun, big moves, big hair, and big performance and it certainly lived up to this.
Showcase 01 was a great success and Donna is extremely proud of all the dancers involved!!
Congratulations to Cara Wilson who achieved the Funkstar Dance Award 2009, really well deserved!! A massive well done to those who achieved Funkstar Dance silver badges too.
