Face of Funkstar is a competition to become Funkstar’s next top model. This takes place once a year, all Funkstar dancers are given the chance to enter. The 25 quarter finalists, 10 semi finalists and 3 finalists are chosen by Donna. Everyone then has the chance to vote for who they want to win and votes count for a large portion of the final decsision. The winner’s photo is used on the homepage of the website, in the studio reception, in publications/merchandise and performs a solo at the Funkstar Showcase. They also receive a Face of Funkstar badge, certificate and t-shirt.

Charlotte – Face of Funkstar 2011

Charlotte is the first ever person to win Face of Funkstar and is a very worthy winner. She is 15 years of age, has attended Funkstar for over 2 years and is a pleasure to teach. Her application and photographs stood out from the start and she grew in confidence and ability during the competition. Charlotte received over 600 votes during the final. Funkstar is very excited to have her as their next top model and are looking forward to the year ahead!
